Make sure to fill the coming weekends leading up to Halloween with fun and fabulous fall festivities. Just because they’re a little cliche, doesn’t mean they aren’t still a great idea!
Who doesn’t want to dress up in some comfy leggings, an over-sized sweater, and an infinity scarf and go make your own apple cider? Think of the Instagram possibilities! You can take home a huge bag of delicious apples and make apple pie, apple strudel, apple ice cream, anything you want!
The kits they make with the little scoopers and mini serated saws make carving a pumpkin super easy. You can find all kinds of designs online simply by googling it. What better way to show off your artistic talent than to carve one, two or even three pumpkins. Hey, they get rotten so fast, you may have to do multiples!
Haunted Maze / Corn Maze
If you’re a chicken like me, a regular old corn maze may be more your speed, but there are also all kinds of haunted mazes where people will chase you with chainsaws and the like. I’d rather take a nice fun night out to meander through a maze, but if you like feeling the constant threat of danger go haunted or go home!
Theme Parks – Universal / Disney
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal and the Halloween decorations at Disney are some of the best parts of the year. No one does a holiday theme better than theme parks! The extra spirit adds a level of fun to a place you thought just couldn’t get any better! Be prepared to overspend on holiday themed food and gifts, but hey, it only comes around once a year. Treat yo self.
