As the Black Friday sales are fast approaching, it’s time to plan out what gifts to get everyone for Christmas. This can be especially hard when it comes to certain types of people. Maybe your Dad already has everything and you have no idea what your brother actually enjoys doing with his free time besides playing Call of Duty. Let’s not forget the monster of monsters – buying something for your boyfriend – especially if you haven’t been dating that long. Not to fear, here are some suggestions to get you through the holiday season under budget.
The Newest Video Game
If you really don’t know anything about your brother other than he loves Call of Duty, you’re in luck – COD Advanced Warfare starring Kevin Spacey is out and ready for you to purchase. All you need to know is if he has a PS4 or an XBOX One.
My brother is obsessed with all the military tactical stuff from Oakley and there is something to be said for the weird innate need to feel like a spy or a military man who definitely needs those bulletproof gloves. If your brother is into the whole swiss army knife, super dark sunglasses or combat boots go for something like this!
A Book or Movie From Your Childhood
Remember those great nights of reading bedtime stories and watching the same animated movies over and over again? Get nostalgic and pick up something old from the past. There’s no reason Christmas can’t be your own personal Throwback Thursday.
Michael Kors isn’t just for women, believe it or not. They also have a great selection of men’s watches that will keep your man on time to your dinner dates from now on…maybe. For a less expensive option, check out Express.
If you aren’t sure what to get, go for Gucci Guilty. It’s pretty straightforward packaging and has an interesting mix of things like Violet, Sweet Tobacco and Amber to give you one sultry smelling man.
Sexy Boudoir Photos
This is fun for you and him. Take some sexy, yet tasteful pin up photos of yourself, put a sepia filter or something artsy over them, print them out and give him a little book of them to peruse.
DVD Box Set
Get your dad somthing classically dad-ish like M*A*S*H or Twin Peaks. Try to find something older that he may have once loved but forgotten about. Think LOST or Heros for something recent.
A Framed Record
Same deal here – find an old record from back in the day that you can frame or just give him the plain old record if he has a player that works!
Journal of Memories
To get sentimental go ahead and write some great memories or personal funny stories in a journal with accomopanying photos. This may take a little time but going through everything will be a fun process. Bonus, you can add to this in a few years and regift it as new!
